Approaching 60 - proof of age?

I was lucky enough to get my bus pass on my 60th birthday a couple of years ago and usually carry that with my railcard in my handbag. I'm pleasantly surprised at how many seniors' discounts kick in at 60. Most people don't think I look my age ( I still get asked what my job is!) bur no-one has ever asked either of us for proof of age. probably assume that we'd not be asking and trying to seem older than our years if we weren't!!Resolution:
Think twice before spending anything!0 -
I'm never asked - totally depressing really, since I'm sure I look much too young......................... I keep waiting.0
