You just have to keep at it Tashja, after about the first 2 weeks I've been really lucky and have won on average about 1 small thing a week.I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0

Thank you all - it's interesting that not all companies inform/deliver in the same way. I am going to be forced now to read all those tiresome emails just in case lol
Nicholab - are you TRYING to make the rest of us feel inferior lol. Two wins in one day. I'm kind of aiming for two wins in the whole year and I'd be chuffed with those!
Congratulations - hope some of your luck rubs off on me :-)0 -
I find that wins come along a few at a time and then I don't get any for ages. I think the closing dates are all the same or something which is why I get loads all at once.Hootie19 wrote:Thank you all - it's interesting that not all companies inform/deliver in the same way. My wins have all been non-deliverable (ie guest list tickets) or the huge deliverable (fridge). I also use a separate webmail account for comps and don't think I've missed anything yet! The fridge comp said 'You've won with Evian!' so it was pretty easy to see.... That said, I had to respond within 28 days or I would have lost the prize, so it is worth checking your email regularly and double checking to ensure what you're deleting is definitely spam.
Good luck & hope you win something soon.

I changed to an email account that doesn't spam filter and just check all email on that I only been notified by email once and that was for Rugby Tickets 2 years ago
since then i had 2 dvds just dropped through the door and some chalice food just delivered by parcel man.
My big win was advsed by letter and had to arrange delivery as it came on a pallet. it took nearly 6 weeks to arrive2009 prizes since July

Hi
Sorry if I am putting this in the wrong place but I am new to this!!
Can anyone give some tips about what competitions to enter. I have been entering magazine competitions by post for years and have had a couple of wins but decided to try internet comping. Had someone tell me to try Loquax but are there any others worth giving a go???
Thanks.If at first you don't succeed ........

Hiya Winjackie,
I only enter free online competitions, using loquax and this board, am too lazy to fill out postcards for magazine comps and wouldn't want to spend the money on buying postcards and stamps - true MSE style and it's free all the way for me.0
