A (relevant) question to those who have won

When you get your emails telling you that you have won, is there always a "congratulations" or similar in the heading?
I have a hotmail account that I use just for competition entries, so that when I sign up for newsletters etc when entering, they don't clog up my personal inbox.
However, I'm paranoid that I might miss a winners email as I only scan the titles of the emails that come into that account, and not actually read the full email.
So - is there usually a clue in the heading of the emails?

Usually there is a word like congratualtions in the title. I too find quite a lot of prizes just turn up.0

No, they do not always say "Congratulations".
I recently won a weekend trip to Glasgow with spending money. The e-mail was just headed "VisitScotland Competition".
I very nearly deleted it, thinking it was spam!0 -
They nearly always say congratulations but sometimes they just don't. You will have to look closer at your emails.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

Just a little question from me too.
Do the prizes come by post or special delivery or both ???

Can come first class royal mail, 2nd class royal mail (some sites send it recorded and some other don't) or even just a DHL van turning up with something you don't even recall or even had any contact about (in my case some very fancy trainers
). You can find some sending stuff royal mail 3 months after the closing date no joke without even a phone call or e-mail (goodness knows what happens if you have dodgy area for Royal mail). That was for some dvds in my case. So have hope even without any e-mails or telephone calls

I've only won a few prizes but most have come through normal post. The Enchanted Castle I won came yesterday by DHL.

Neither of the two emails I received yesterday said congratulations. Almost deleted both of them.0

Thank you all.
Just feeling like I am having no luck even though only been entering comps for less than a week !!!
LOL - I have no patience

The prizes get delivered in all kinds of ways. Sometimes by royal mail and sometimes by special delivery. I've had about 3 prizes arrive with courier companies too.
It took 6 months of comping before I won anything and even then it was only a Brian McFadden CD (hardly anything to get excited about).2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040
