True - well my Regular Saver ends tomorrow and the 0.9% bonus on the Online Saver / 0.7% bonus on the ISA end by the end of April or so. After that, the only great product they have that will keep some of my cash is the 5.64% Direct saver - assuming it keeps up with any base rate changes!Do Money Saving sites make you buy more bargains - and spend more money?0 -

Hm........., but don't forget the Life of Brian then gives us a huge list of things the Romans HAVE done for us. Maybe A&L have been trying to fix the drains and the roads while we haven't been looking ?Do Money Saving sites make you buy more bargains - and spend more money?0 -
I reckon A&L are OK for savings, as long as you watch the interest rate and versions very carefully.
I recently opened a current account purely to access their reg saver, and I have to say my impression is the CA is designed to create the maximum account charges for them - I really wouldnt fancy it as my main account.

Is this definite? Where has anyone seen it? My 10% likewise has just matured. I told them to close the account and the Premier Direct as I now use Coventry First at 5.65% but said I believe you had to wait 3 months to become a new customer. Unoffficially he said, wait about 10 days or so until your Premier Direct Account is fully closed and then apply online for the 12% saver and quite often they slip through unnoticed!0 -

The splash on the A&L homepage states that the offer must end soon, but does not give any definite date for its withdrawal.0 -
