Editing a PDF document

I have Foxit Reader but that does not let you edit a PDF that gets sent to me. I have tried the free Foxit PDF Editor which is ok but leaves an imprint on an edited document to say it's been edited in a trial period. I cannot afford the full paid version.

Can anyone suggest a free PDF editor that's easy to use? I need to proof read occasional docs for our sports club - and to copy and paste extracts from PDFs for our own summary use.

To convert the Word document to PDF you could use this, click file then print and choose dopdf as the printer to get the pdf file

The only free one I've seen that was worth the download is PDF-XChange Viewer. Only allows limited editing, but useful for adding markups to catalogues, datasheets etc.
