Ipod Shuffle 1gb

Hi have had one of these for Xmas and am having trouble with I tunes am copying CD tracks onto I tunes and keep getting tracks duplicated as well as tracks not staying in order. For example a concerto I have with 4 parts insists on playing out of sync i.e. I hear 2 then 4 nd 1 etc. Any advice?

Re-name those tracks that are playing out of order.

Ive read my sons instruction manual over and over again and even the help bit on itunes and it still baffles the hell outta me, gimme a bog standard mp3 player anyday to an ipod nano (which is what i got my son) im usually quote good at stuff like that but nope

By renaming the tracks, I believe espresso means add a number to the beginning of the track name so that they are in the correct order when sorted. e.g.

Adeste Fidelis (Oh Come All Ye Faithful)
Band Of Brothers (Classic Mix)

Might become:

01 Band Of Brothers (Classic Mix)
02 Adeste Fidelis (Oh Come All Ye Faithful)

I'm getting a Shuffle soon, so I'll experiment to see if this is correct. Did you know that you can manually sync an iPod with iTunes? Here's how:

To load songs onto iPod manually:
Connect your iPod to your computer.
When the iPod icon appears in the iTunes window (under Devices), select it.
If the Summary pane is not showing, click the Summary tab.
Select "Manually manage music." (If you have an iPod that displays video, the checkbox says "Manually manage music and video.")
Click Music (below Library, on the left side of the iTunes window) and then drag songs and playlists to your iPod.
