Don't use match.com. Just.... don't!

I've had a bad run with match.com since I foolishly decided to go for a trial run with them. First I couldn't log in at all, then they removed the ability to stop the trial online, and now, when I ring their 24-hour freephone number to stop them charging me, I find that the service is in French, thus rendering it totally useless!
If I end up doling out a pointless £30, I'm going to [illegal deleted]... send them a strongly worded letter.
Seriously, never ever use them. They're a despicable company with horrific customer services who just try to snare people within their subscription service and never let them leave!

Weird. I've got a couple of friends who have used it in the past and no longer need to use it because it worked so well, if that makes sense. They highly recommend it to anyone who even looks like thinking of asking about how to meet people.
Just goes to show you how different people can have very different experiences with the same company. If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -
Disagree with the OP. I used match.com and am now about to marry my fiancee who I met on there 2 and a half years ago!
Match.com ftw!0 -
They were on Watchdog recently for the same problem, the subscription costs are extortionate anyway when many users are also on free sites.0
