Wasn't refering to you or Stepb34, i was refering to the insistance of some to dwell on technicalities ie the passport is valid rather than offer sensible advice.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -

Surely as we have not been told otherwise it's reasonable to assume the OP is talking about a UK Passport.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -
besides which i doubt anyone will check it on the Spain end. Worst comes to worst you could get a emergency passport if stuck in Spain when it expires.
You are required to input Advanced Passenger Info when you book a flight to Spain. contact your airline but i very much doubt it will be a problem.
what is the point of a expiry date if you cannot travel before it expires.Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0
