Hi guys
I'm running IE 8, and noticed today that my Google Toolbar is different.
Underneath my 'File, Edit, View ....' toolbar, instead of having Google and then the search box, I now have an 'X' box, which when clicked, offers me the opportunity to delete Google add-ons.
Any ideas what's happened, what i've done, and how I get it back ?
Have tried system restore, and

Uninstalled what was already on the system, then was able to restored it, but after trying the first suggestion got me nowhere, the second did.
However, told me the installation had failed, then showed up the next time I opened IE !!!!
