Keypad meters - does topping up lock in current prices?

I have a keypad meter, and PowerNI (Northern Ireland electricity company) are going to put up prices soon by as much as 20%.
If I buy the maximum £175 topup allowed, does this lock in today's prices and therefore I make a 20% saving for the next few months until the next topup?

Yes do that. Good idea.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

registers a encrypted hex key value between 1-9999 units, the amount of units is set at the till.
All the Key does is transfer those units on to the meter, so more you buy at old price, more units you get.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
