Couldn't find any Merchant Gourmet chestnuts, but their 454gm jars of Dulce de Leche(caramel toffee - divine stuff)are discontinued and 99p.
BUT, Mr T has new range of identical item, in 340gm pots for £1.69.

500g French glace cherries 84p in store today, instead of £1.69.
Not a mega mega reduction, but these are never usually reduced.0 -
durex play lubricant (50ml), was reduced from £3.49 down to £1.74 per bottle, they now have the `heat` or `tingle` varieties on bogof so 2 bottles for £1.74.
for those that haven`t tried it yet, the `tingle` variety is well worth a try
I took your advice and stuck to the tingle - too chicken for the "heat" one:o
Thought it would have gone nicely with the Dulce de leche - but couldn't find any in my local :cool:
Would have looked nice with a French Glace Cherry on the top - but so excited the old bag forgot to look

Also lots of good books about 25% of normal price. I got Valentina Harris Recipes from an Italian Terrace £3 from £14.99 and The New Family Bread Book £4 from £20 ( hardback).0 -

Just back from Tesco where I was going to buy vegetable peeler for £1.50. Once at store spotted their 4 peice kitchen gadget set is now £2.00 - includes peeler, ice-cream scoop, pizza cutter and garlic press. Good bargain but went through till at £1.00 - great bargain!MFW 91 op 2014 £410/1000

Got 5 pair packs for 22p in some and other more expensive packs were 5 pairs for 80p - quite a few to be had - in the clothiing dept in a box not on the shelf.
Hope its nationwide and this helps someone else to get a bargain
