Tesco mega reductions thread (updated)

Nice little bargain spotted in Tesco Extra Elgin. Possibly they will have more left.

710g Jars of Haywards Pickled Onions, red cabbage and gherkins

Selling for 10p . All are in date(Oct 2009) and from the jars I checked there was nothing wrong(safety buttons were in safe position on lid)

Any other Tesco stores doing the same?

Probably a clearance of Christmas overstock in your store.

They seem to have been doing this over the last week or so.

My local Tesco had quite a lot of stuff on 10p clearance at the beginning of this week.

Tesco have MERCHANT GOURMET BOXES OF CHESTNUTS, were £1.99, down to 10p...

Should I be looking on the Bashed & discontinued shelf?
Do they have the big yellow reduced-to-clear stickers?

no, they are just on the regular shelfs, the pickles where all the other pickels are. they did not even have 10p sels on , the barry norman onions still said £1.99. The frozen meats are on shelf with yellow reduced to clear, some had yellow reduced sels.

Bradford Canal Road had Haywards Large Pickled onions and silverskin ones as well but there was no reduced price tags. Had to get a jar scanned to check if they were 10p.They were so helped my self to 10 jars. (Exp date Mar2009) Still a few left.

Birds chocolate trifle 10p, Tesco dried sweetened cranberries 10p.

Lyme Regis Organic Fruitus cereal bars (5 in a box) - 10p (I got Apricot flavour)

White discontinued SEL says 10p, on the shelf with all other cereal bars.

No added sugar, looks very healthy. Haven't tried it yet.

there on the normal shelfs
the pringles are the ones with xmas trees on them the others scan at full price.
