the display date is 15/6 use by date 16/6
    bought 16/6

In my local store you only ever get items like this in the reduced section. I don't think I have ever seen anything in the reduced section that did not go out of date that day.

Are you sure? Some items do not have a Display Date, only a Use By date. If it has a Display Date it should not be on sale after it, regardless of the Use By. If it only has a Use By then selling it on that day is fine. It is usually very short life product - Sandwiches or Cream Cakes - that has a Use by only.

Tesco value mint sauce 3p for a jar.

Looked very runny, but only bought to use as a marinade on the lamb leg we were having for dinner.

Am pretty sure. Sometimes other half works night and tend to keep a few microwave meals in the freezer which I have bought from the reduced section for hm. They have always been bought on the last day that they can be used (but for me it doesn't matter as am freezing them anyway). Will check freezer in a minute and peel back reduced laels to see!

This may be a misprice as it cost me 39p today at tescos in a pink'see through tube with blue/white writing 150ml.

It's a new product as I saw it in the mag real epople today and it's £3. May be good to make up health & beauty buys to use coupons as you get fed up with showr gel & hand wash! It might be a car booter now hols are near.

It was on the shelf with sun tan lotion next to the pharmacy on bottom shelf next to blue gel which was dearer.

The packaging has been changed on the multipacks of Tesco baby wipes. My local store was selling the 3x80 packs of wipes in the old packaging for £1.35 :j
Here I go again on my own....
