Tesco mega reductions thread (updated)

Done a search through the various Tesco chats and not found this.

Just been to our local Tesco Home Plus store in Telford where they're selling packs of 2 washing up brushes, packs of 3 vacuum sealed sponges and various car air fresheners for.....get this.... 1p per pack.

They definitely scan through at 1p each cos I asked the checkout woman. Various other £1 goodies available too which will make great stocking fillers. Not sure if this is only in Home Plus stores or elsewhere?????

Walked into the local Tesco and saw that they had reduced the twin dish brush packs from 1 pound to 1p and triple packs of car air freshioners the same also!

Just been into Tesco in Cirencester (Gloucestershire) looking for an armband for his iPod shuffle. Apparently the shuffle is being discontinued in its current format (didn't know that) so they were selling off all their shuffle accessories for just £1!!

I don't know how much these things cost before, but I bought:
armband
USB dock
little case thing to wear round your neck (transparent thing, looks really funky)

No idea whether other branches have the same offers but it might be worth a phone call.

I picked up six of the washing-up brushes - they don't have a price tag, but scan at 1p.

The Checkout Operator called her neighbouring counterpart, and told her they were a penny each.

After checking my receipt though, I went back to tell her that they weren't a penny each - they were 3 for 2p!!

Have to give these to the wife, as they didn't come with instructions

Just saw this for £4.34 at our local Tesco Extra - they also still had quite a few Twisters left. We also picked up some 10 in talking Sonic the Hedgehogs at £3.47....spent less than £15 and came away with 6 really niec Christmas pressies

Bought a Tesco value squash racket for 24p yesterday!! They don't come with a cover though. it was initially reduced to £1.xx but don't know the original price. What a bargain!! Lots in Bursledon Southampton but still £1.xx in North Narbour Portsmouth.

For those of you who, like me, buy Kosher meat, it is always nice to get a bargain.

Yarden chicken fillets originally £3.99, down to £1.99, now £0.99.
Yarden chicken nuggets now £0.57
Yarden chicken hamburgers come up with no price at all, so when the assistant told me she had to withdraw them from the cabinet, I asked her to find someone on frozen. A manager turned up and said I could have them for 99p. When I said all the discontinued stuff had been reduced to a quarter of its original price, he asked me how much I wanted to pay. I said 50p, he said ok, and I got 6 boxes of burgers for £3.
The Yarden drumsticks will also be reduced if you can find any.

limited stock offer. Tesco extra Redditch yesterday had triplewax car wash sponge with free bug shifter sponge for 47p. However they were BOGOF too, so two(4 with bug shifter) sponges for 47p!!
