New Bos/Halifax Current Acc

Options
Hi

Is it still the case that once an on-line application has been made for an account and the sort code and account number are given out in the process that the account must be credited with £100 at least overnight before the card is sent out. Or has this changed with any luck? It was not mentioned during the application only thing mentioned and email received was about internet banking password going in the post.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

James

When I applied I got my sort code and account no immediately, but there was no mention of having to deposit £100 until the letter arrived from them.
So, yes, you do still need to credit £100.
  • You still need the £100 for 24 hours. Also, even though you got the account details online, it can still be declined.
