Just been notified by email (whole company has) that the consultation period has started.
Individual consulations to begin at the end of september for those affected
and there was a PS at the end - if you have any press interest please point them towards the marketing dept. nice

Seems a lot nicer than "You are reminded that despite circumstances you are still employed by this company and anyone speaking about the company in a negative way will be disciplined and may be dismissed". But my version is a hell of a lot clearer! Criticising your employer in the press or on Facebook (had to put that in - it's getting to be the commonest form of dismissal!)can get you sacked any day of the week and save the employer the trouble of paying your redundancy.0
