I'm disgusted but unfortunately, not surprised. There is obviously a serious and potentially dangerous lack of knowledge regarding PPC's.
Luckily a lot of people come on here or CAG or Pepipoo to get the correct advice. I would certainly be putting TS right though, if they give out wrong information to one person, they are giving out wrong information to 100 or worse.
I tried to help a lady today who paid £65 for a fake PCN by explaining that it wasn't legally enforceable. She looked at me like I had two heads, totally uninterested. Amazing really.0
