Clarity card overseas OVERpayment?

Hi, I have a Halifax Clarity Credit Card (just upgraded from One card, balance zero, interest rate almost doubled but that's not for discussion today!), I'm going abroad for two weeks and will be using this for purchases and ATM withdrawals.
My plan was to make payments of whatever amount I withdraw from ATMs the same day, to minimise interest. So this way I'd pay 3-4 days of interest on each withdrawal. I've confirmed with Halifax that payments are allocated to cash withdrawalws first and then purchases are interest free up to 59 days if you pay statement in full. I shall.
So my question is, what will happen if I make an overpayment (leaving me in credit) a few days before I go and then withdraw that amount at an ATM? I know this isn't strictly legit but will they close my account or hunt me down with a shotgun?

Its in the T&Cs that you cant make the account go into credit. Seen if before that people have done it and had the card cancelled while overseas.100% G33K

We may return any funds that exceed the balance owing on your account to the account from which the money was sent.
