Sorry I am sure it is very easy, but could someone tell how to do the above please. When answering/asking question on this forum it would be helpful if I could do it rather than say 'please read 4 questions down' etc!!!!

Or manually do it this way -
Click (url=http://www.google.co.uk)here(/url) for Google
changing the () brackets for square ones []
gives you
I see now.
As espresso says, you want to be able to link straight to a single post e.g. reply/post #5?
Might be a bit hard linking to a post "four down" as you mentioned when it's not been posted, unless you're editing a previous post.
If you click on the post number it should open a new window. Just copy and paste the URL into your link as described in the methods above.Dave. :wave:0 -

Could you do that a bit simpler as its lost on slow coaches like me- all the various steps that is.Thanks tweeter.Peel back your baby's eyelid to find no nationality or religious identity mark there. Peer at your baby's eyes for them to reflect back just people-throw away your flags and religious symbols...0 -

Paul_R wrote:Ok, I think that we may be missing something here, if you want to make posting in threads easier, try going to 'User CP' at the top of this page when you are logged into the site. This allows you to configure your User Control Panel. Then down the bottom left you'll see 'Edit Options' and in there select 'Miscellaneous Options' and select 'Standard Editor'.
Hey presto, the enhanced buttons allowing you to post links and pics in these threads appears, once you have clicked off the thread and then back onto it again. Any good?
There's a guide about that I linked to in post #3 above
(more guides in the a-z)0
