Stuck on last-minute European Honeymoon - Help!

You could save a lot of money by renting an apartment for a week rather than staying in hotels. That would also give you a kitchen, so you would not have to eat out every night unless you wanted to, again saving a few pennies.
A company that I used for this is called Interhome. They are based in Switzerland, so their main site ends .ch but they have various sites serving different countries, with prices in different currencies and slightly different terms and conditions.
I think that Switzerland would be a great place for a honeymoon: obviously no sea, but plenty of beautiful lakes as well as the mountains. Prices are terrifying, but of course quality is uniformly high so you are getting something for all that money. You might like to know that Ticino, one of the Swiss cantons, is Italian-speaking and the food and culture are just like those in Italy, but of course the public transport is of the near-legendary Swiss efficiency.0
