Somebody somewhere is charging motorists over £8000 a day.
Why do you need to know?

I just needed to know the calculation would be for mondays volume of traffic, I dont know if I need to just add the cars, lorries and motorbikes together for that day?
Its for an IT course I am doing and I have done all of my tasks but now I am stuck! lol0 -
yes i would suggest its just a basic =sum()Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
=sum(b9,c9,d9) ?? I doubt they actially want the cubic volume which would indeed be harder ;-)0

In which case it's a simple sum.
In Mondays Volume of traffic, use =SUM(B10:D10) replace B10 with the cell containing Mondays Cars and D10 with Monday's Motor Bikes.
If you are happy. now just click and drag the fill handle to copy the formula to the other days. Double click the fill handle will also work.

According to wikipedia (so it must be right):
Annual average daily traffic, abbreviated AADT, is a measure used primarily in transportation planning and transportation engineering. It is the total volume of vehicle traffic of a highway or road for a year divided by 365 days. AADT is a useful and simple measurement of how busy the road is. It is sometimes incorrectly reported as "average annual daily traffic".
So, although the sum all the vehicles for each day as mentioned in the previous thread, will give you the volume for each day, I suggest that you should also sum all the number of vehicles for the 7 days and divide by 7 to give an average daily taffic volume (perhaps represented as "Weekly Average Daily Traffic")Never let it get you down... unless it really is as bad as it seems.0
