Existing NatWest customers with Current Plus

As NatWest has recently revamped their bank accounts, I see they have replaced Current Plus account with select account.

And they don't provide upgrade to Advantage blue anymore but to Select silver for £8.

So what happens to existing customers like myself that have current plus account with advantage blue? Will it be upgraded to select silver or we'd get the chance to reject or possibly cancel the upgrade?

Cheers

You can cancel your upgrade at any time anyway, but seeing as they are in the process of changing all Step/Key account holders to the new basic account, I think its inevitable that all other accounts will change to the new range at some point

Thanks Jen. From what I remember reading the terms and conditions when I upgraded, advantage blue is a 6 month rolling contract. So if you don't cancel within 14 days, you end up paying for atleast 6 months regardless.

I think my 6 months on advatage blue are about to end, so I was just wondering what would happen after that.

Didnt even know they are changing !

I have both a current and step account.

The current account with Adv Blue.

How does these new accounts differ?

I personally think the new Select Silver is much better than the old Advantage Blue.
