Rights on faulty t shirt

I bought a £40 shirt online from a high street shop and within 3 months of purchase the shirt is falling apart, buttons are coming off and it's coming unthreaded. Can I return it saying it's unfit for purpose? surely a product of that price should last longer then 3 months.

Have you contacted the retailer (in store) ?? You may find they just replace it 'with no fuss'

It's what a reasonable person would assume, £40 is not 'fast fashion' throw away quality, so SOGA is likely your friend.

    • not of satisfactory quality

But if you have been wearing it / washing it daily and been i.e. rocking climbing with it on

You do not have a legal right to receive a refund, repair or replacement for any of the reasons listed

    • fair wear and tear
