As title. Today my laptop is not opening pdf docs and asks me to save them instead. I don't want to have to do this for every document I look at so are there any low tech simple solutions to reset this?

Are they on your laptop, or are they on they net? If they are on the net, what is your browser (and version)? It sounds like your defaults are for save rather than open with adobe reader or foxit.4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . I can open ones I have on the laptop but it is ones online that go to save. I used the links provided in this thread but it hasn't made any difference, I still can't open pdf's without saving them.
How do I change the defaults back to open rather than save?If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
Have you tried right click, open with, rather than just double clickingg on the file?
Your laptop may have lost it's file associations, so it doesn't know what to open the PDF with.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Uninstall the software, reboot & reinstall it being careful with the options0
