Half the screens gone black :mad: ( but can see very dim). and runs very slow, says there something wrong with the hard drive on the taskbar. ran fine but now the hard drive failing, meaning it takes ages to load things up. just wondering wheres the cheapest i could. :mad:
a. get a charger
b. fix the screen
c. buy a new hardrive.
or is it worth the money for a £200 notebook?

Click start then run, type chkdsk /f /r (with the spaces), click OK. Wait till a box shows, type Y to run it at next boot, press enter. Restart the machine. The check will take a while so only run it when you do not need the machine.
