Dell Support - Help

I bought a Dell Laptop last December and the display now goes blank on occasions when I swivel the display so there must be a hardware fault. The trouble is that although I know it should still be covered, I cannot make out from the Dell website how to contact them to arrange the repair / fix. I don't want to get caught out by some premium line £x per min call to their technical, all I want to do is report a warranty issue and arrange recovery. Can some one please guide me on this, what is the number? And yes I have learnt my lesson about buying Dell!

Have you entered the service tag?

Just did this for my parents with a printer.
Puting your laptop service code in here will tell you what your warranty is - http://support.euro.dell.com/support/topics/topic.aspx/emea/shared/support/my_systems_info/en/details?c=uk&cs=ukdhs1&l=en&s=dhs&~ck=mn
If you have a normal warranty, then you just need to ring 0844 338 1000 as perhttp://support.euro.dell.com/support/topics/topic.aspx/emea/shared/support/dellcare/en/byphone_prod?c=uk&cs=ukdhs1&l=en&s=dhsOnly two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former. - Albert Einstein0 -
I was on the phone to Dell support at work today. You can speed things up when you phone by having the express service tag ready to type in on the phone. That's the all-numbers one rather than the shorter letters & numbers service tag.0

I arranged my repair through the Dell online support chat program. No phone calls!0
