IKEA Wardrobe Assembly

Just for general information. Today I have been giving my son a hand to install a pair of 1mtr wide Ikea wardrobes with sliding glass doors. We were very impressed with the build quality, some of their details are very innovative. The whole thing went together like a dream and we were very pleased with the result. There is a little heavy lifting to do so it is easier with two people. Take your time and do it right and you will be well pleased with the result. The only tools required are a screwdriver and a hammer, the Allen keys come in the kit.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

Ikea stuff looks rubbish though. I agree it's good quality materials but the designs are a bit tree-hugging and left-wing. LOL.Everyone is entitled to my opinion!0

Ikea is the only flat pack furniture I will buy. It's miles above the likes of Homebase/Argos type of flat pack stuff in terms of quality imo.
That said, I've just bought a chest of drawers for my daughter's room and noticed the cams are made differently compared to previous purchases. The metal used is softer and nowhere near as strong. Not sure if that's the case across the board or just with certain items.Herman - MP for all!
