I'm with docmatt.
Every house in the country has got holes drilled out or notched out for the running of cables, CH pipes, water pipees, gas pipes etc and I;ve not heard of any house falling down or roofs falling off as a result.

its not normal to drill a truss - Captain Kidds 2nd post says not to notch them in the opeing paragraphs
its actually more work to rill than it is to lay ontop and clip
that said a single 15mm hole in the truss is probably not a big issue
is there just 1 15mm hole in each truss or are there a cluster of holes together in a single truss
I would be concerne by a vertical hole in the truss0
