Need a battery for Toshiba satellite l300

My old Toshiba satellite l300 laptop needs a new battery, its hardly holding any charge now.
I called into the local computer shop and they want £40 for a new toshiba one. I've just had a look on ebay and there are some that fit a toshiba l300 but arent made by toshiba.
Will one of these damage my laptop? Are they any good?

Check for prices but a higher rated mAh battery could be worth considering
