Hi, I've floated around the formum for some time now and gained some invaluable advice but have become stuck with my latest dilema and I'm hoping someone may be able to help?
I currently have a fully expensed company car, but have landed a new job :j and will be will recieve a monthly pre tax payment of £400 as a contribution towards a car.
My dilema is what should I do with this money? I've looked at the various sites mentioned on here such as Lings, and now feel even more confused than ever
I currently drive a Golf GT TDI 2L and would have liked to change this to an Audi A3 TDi, but the PCP I've been quoted come out at £575 over 4 years! However as an alternative the sales guy did offer me an Audi A6 2L TDi for £372.11 /m plus a baloon payment at the end of 2 years. It was fitted with sat nav, auto lights, windscreen wipers, 2 years warrenty, tax & break down etc and was nice to drive despite its size.
I need the car for company business and have estimated I'll do 20k miles per year. My question is, is a PCP the best route to go or is a no tie contract hire better?
If PCP is the best route - is there a huge catch with the Audi that I'm missing??
Any comments would be appreciated,
Thanks

Firstly the quote you've had is probably from a dealership. It sounds very expensive. Don't be distracted by the salesperson to take a car you don't really want. Try getting quotes from SmartLease, FleetDirect, L4ASE and All Contract Services on the internet.0
