Solicitors Fee`s - How much.

Live in the midlands and just wanted to know how much solicitors charge on the sale of your house and the purchase on the new property??

    Ours was around £1,750 to £2,000 (including searches but not including stamp duty) for sale and purchase but this can vary, Have you found a solictor? If so maybe you should give them a ring and ask as it most likely will be more or even less than mine..

    I called 2 of our local solicitors for both selling and buying quotes. They differed a little from eachother but not much. Then looking on this site we saw a few people recommending the conveyancing warehouse. They were much cheaper for both buying and selling. We only instructed them to act on our behalf last week so can't really say much about them. Just going by others recommendations on here.
