Any opinions on Esure & Kwik Fit for Car Insurance?

Hi Folks,
I have just done the due diligence stuff and come back with Esure and Kwik Fit to be my least expensive Car Insurance quotations this coming year.
Just wondering if anyone has experience of either and has any views before I sign up to anything?
Thanks in advance,
Steve.

Did you look at charges for alterations, like moving house or change of vehicle? We get a lot of people who ignore them at application time but have plenty to say later when they occur.I am a mortgage broker. Great point Kingstreet, but for the year 2011 - 2012, I will not be moving (just done it) and will not be changing car (brand new one), so I am prepared to take mid-policy change costs as 'not a consideration' right now - barring life changing disasters obviously.
Thanks!0 -
Im not sure my reply will be of any use whatsoever, I've never claimed against my car insurance (TOUCHWOOD I wont ever need to), a few years back I was insured by Kwik Fit, no problems, but as I said I've never had a need to!!!0

Thanks MasterPoo.
I guess since there are no other responses then both companies have no major negative views out there!

Esure appear to be very dubious on paying out on home insurance at the moment.

I have been with kwik fit for 2 years for car insurance and had no problems, but like the other poster have never claimed with them. Last year when they sent my auto renewal I searched online and got it cheaper which they then price matched. I will stay with them again this year if the do the same0

kwik fit is okay, but dont like the fact of having to download policys. Not that good for new cars as the free mot is worthless, changes to policys are cheap about it. Never had an issue but never had to claimDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Thanks to all - it appears that Kwik Fit are probably coming out slightly on top in this very brief straw poll.
Cheers and have a great weekend !!
