awol tool bar !

oh has tried to solve a computer issue and not only not solved the 1st problem but has managed to lose the bloody tool bar , Ive rescued it once before but for the life of me i cant remember how to find it again. any help gratefully received !

    Which toolbar would that be then? Internet Explorer?
    Often you can get them back by right clicking in some empty space where the toolbar normally shows. You might then get a dropdown allowing you to select what is displayed. Not all applications will do that though.
    Or are you talking about something within the operating system? If so, what do you have?

    im using internet explorer , it all gone if i move the mouse up to the right top of the screen theres a small area the reveals but all thats on it is the minimise/full screen icons and the red x.

    Right click in the space just to the left of the minimize button and you should get a dropdown menu in which you can tick the bars you want displayed, like menu bar & command bar.
