Reclaim PPI and Charges from PCFG

Hello everyone!

I'm new here and, I have to admit it: this website is amazing!

I'm overwhelmed by the sheer amount of infos available, too much for an ignorant guy like me.

I've tried to find the solution to my problems elsewhere on this forum but without luck, please, forgive me in advance if this matter has been already dealt before.

Here my problem: starting from 2006 I asked the help of PCFG ( Private & Commercial Finance Group - pcfg . co . uk) to buy my car then in 2007 to buy my motorbike and again in 2008 to buy another bike (trading the old one back of course) now, We are in 2011, everyone is struggling with the economy and little self-employed guys like me are experiencing some very hard times.

I finished to pay the car and sold it, I will (eventually) finish to pay the bike next year BUT, since October 2008 I did struggle to make regular payments, my questions are:
  1. is there any chance that I can try and reclaim back all the PPI I had on these contracts?
  2. What about all the EXTRA charges I had to pay like £10 fee for every letter they sent me for a late payment and the interest/penalties I had to pay (we are talking about 100s of pounds..)
  3. What I don't really understand is: can I deal with PCFG like I would with a normal back (HSBC, Barclays) or not?
  4. Can I use the forms already available on this website?
Thanks a lot in advance for your help, I really need a hand here!

The complaint procedure is exactly the same but for PPI you need to go to whoever sold the policy, not the lender (assuming that is different).
  • Thanks a lot... I take that the same goes for extracharges (they charged me £10 for EVERY letter they sent me)

I don't understand how can I calculate if the interests they charged me on late payments are legal or not.

Could you also confirm that I can still reclaim even for the loan closed in 2009 for the car?

Thank you very, BUT VERY MUCH!
