Swapping MBNA Account

I currently have a BMI Platinum account which is run by MBNA the introductory offer is running out and i was wondering if i was to contact MBNA whether they would let me change the card to a MBNA Plat Plus for the 6.9 % on purchases.

Anyone done this or no if it is allowed ?

    If you want to move the balance then you cannot. You cannot move from one mbna card to the other. As they will lose money from the interest you are paying at the moment.

    Bad business practise and all that. ;)
