BIOS Beep code

Have just moved a PC to a new case as I suspect the PSU was duff in the old one (also thought a new case would be good for cooling etc.). Symptoms were originally very dodgy at powering on and occasional resets.
Now the PC is back together, the wires are all together in the right places etc, the PC will not start up. On power on, the 3 lights on the keyboard flash once and one of the CD-drive lights comes on and stays on. A few seconds later there is a long beep (around 7 seconds) and then the PC seems to reset and the process starts again.
Anyone got any pointers? I've reseated all RAM, cards etc. and am a bit stumped. It's originally an Aldi Medion PC with an MS-6701 / MD5000 motherboard.

1 long beep only seems to class as 'other beep' meaning a RAM error, could it have been damaged in the rebuild, can you try it ina nother PC?0 -

Will check that later. I'll be confused if that's it though, I never even took the CPU / heatsink off the mobo...
