PPI and credit Card charges do not use the Claims Guys

I have had a very bad experience with communication with them, they have a stalker like approach. They hassle you constantly at the begining of the process with calls and texts, then everything does quiet until the day they receive an offer, they then make contact up to 5 times a day bombarding you with texts and calls sometimes minutes apart, encouraging you to pay them their fee over the phone before you have seen any written confirmation of the amount you have received or their fee.

I recently was on holiday for just about 2 weeks, during this time I had an offer on a claim, by the time I came back because I had not responded, hey I was on holiday, they were trhreatening to take me to court and had refered my case to their legal department.

I have received large sums of money back, however I could have done this my self in hindsight and not had to pay the 30% fee plus Vat, to these guys for doing nothing but hassleing me and causing me stress. Think twice before use a company like this, the tools are out there to enable you to do this your self and if you have a strong case you will get your money back.

They cold called me and told me that I could put in a claim for mis-selling on insurance. I told the woman that I was an IFA and she then said I could still put a claim in. I don't know if she was stupid, incompetent or trying to defraud me. However, it gave me a lasting impression of this company.

    Excellent advice
Well done on your successful outcome, even if the process has left you more than a little stressed.

A cold call from a company alleging to claim substantial amount of money rec'd yesterday and unfortunately my partner gave them details which apparently they already had!! Such as bank card number? The next call made announced we would have to pay from this card £99.99 for them to look into our claim (we never asked them to make any claim as we have never had PPI or bank charges). At this point I decided to report them to the police for harassment and mis-selling which I await the outcome from the law. This company is CLAIMS LIMITED of which there are many similar companies but this one refused to give me their details ie phone number or address from which they were ringing. This is so serious I am losing faith in this country to manage its affairs without resorting to compo culture.
