hi,can anyone help...

after recently looking at this site i believe i may be able to claim.

over the past few years as i/we (the wife) have entered into numourous credit/loan agreements.

due to the nature of my job i have and still have noe requirement for PPI...after looking through my MBNA - CITI now OPUS credit cards i realised i pay £12 - 13 a month to Payment protection cover.

in relation to MBNA which i paid off in September 2009 i was paying £33 roughly on a £6000 credit limit.. i had this card for some 7 years.

Benificial finance...i have found a credit agreement the PPI on that is some £2044.32 broken down - Life - £547 - ASU £885.97 add the interest £610.45. Not one bit of this was explained however older and now wiser i am hoping to recieve some or all of it back.

i have spoken to Fortis financial today who are going to send a copy of my old agreement from 2007 to see if i paid PPI.

has anybody been successful against egg...we currently are paying off an egg credit card and in 2008 paid off a loan...can "we" write to them requesting a copy of the original agreement paperwork or is there a cost involved.

point to note....my wife is currently off work and the credit in her name she has utilised the PPI and after speaking to her relevent creditors and explaining her situation, they are happy to credit her 13 months ( diagnosed with tumor that long ago) of payments that we have made even though our monthly income had been halved...hense why we are now looking at your fantastic website. So in relation to PPI maybe we were not aware but by god is it a bonus right now..all be it we have to wait for the claim forms...i wait for the post with baited breath.

hopefully someone will be able to give me some clear direction and guidance with making a claim...sorry if the email is long winded...just really need some help as i'm sinking financially and with the worry of my wife i need to sure up my finances as kids need feeding!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi there

Sorry this has not been answered to earlier.

If you contact them, they should be able to confirm if you had ppi or not, although its best to have the written proof.

Basically to make a reclaim it's rather straight forward, you just complete the reclaim questionnaire on step 3 below, send to whoever was responsible to selling the account to you, (send to their complaints or head office), and keep a copy for yourself as well, they normally have 8 weeks, but may ask for more time if needed, good luck.

In regards of the calculations, someone should be along in due course to check them for you, more details may be required, although you do not actually require them to make a reclaim.
