Hi
I sent in 2 complaints for misselling.
One to Prestige Finance who told me they dont sell insurance and have passed the file on to Premier Writers who sold the insurance.
One to Swift who told me they do not sell insurance and they would not be raising a complaint at this time. They told me to contact loans.co.uk or the ombudsman.
What do I do now? Do I need to refile these complaints?

Hi there
Whoever set up and sold you the loan are the ones responsible, so it maybe then loans.co.uk, these are a broker of loans, so its very highly these you have to pursue.
If your getting problems and they are all passing the buck, maybe you can ask the FOS to write to them on your behalf, they should not mess around then, good luck.

I didnt think premier writers sold the insurance but supplied it.What do I do now? Do I need to refile these complaints?
Depending on the type of insurance and the status of the adviser/broker, the seller has the liability unless they are an agent of the insurer.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
According to the FSA register, Prestige Finance was an appointed representative of Premier Writers from 14 January 2005 (the day on which general insurance became regulated) until 30 June 2008.
Therefore if Prestige Finance sold a loan in that period Premier Writers must deal with a PPI complaint0 -
Ok so I will say this to Premier in my next letter.
Does anyone have an address for loans.co.uk so I can send off the complaint again?0 -
