Advice needed on timber framed double glazing.

Been stripping paint off my rear upstairs windows, but it seems clear they're rotten and need replacing. Could anyone give me an idea of what kind of cost I'd be looking at to replace with timber-frame double glazed units (I'm in a conservation area so have to have timber frames).

Two windows, size is approx 50inches square (127cm). Pic of one of them here (the other is identical) http://i54.tinypic.com/245d2eb.jpg

Many thanks

Good quality double glazed timber window of that size and pattern about £350 -£400 (excl VAT) plus fitting. But that is South West prices, not silly London prices.

Have you considered repairing them rather than replacing them. If you search 'timber door & window repair kit' on ebay there's a great product on there that could do the job if you're fairly handy.
