NIE / Power NI

Hi not sure where this thread should be but here goes:

Arrived home from work yesterday to be met with a neighbour who had a card for me from NIE advising that they called to discuss the bill and that they would contact a court if I did not contact them within 7 days. The person who left the card with my neighbour discussed my account and business with them and they were able to repeat all this back to me. Totally horrified I then went to the shop to be asked by another neighbour why NIE were going to take me to court. I think this is awful bad on the part of NIE and wonder what I can or should do about it considering they actually had to leave my property, go down our long lane drive on the main road, pull into the neighbours house and go to his door to deliver something personal to me NOT EVEN IN AN ENVELOPE and also discuss my business. I do have a post box right at the door of the house which is secure and which he could have left the card in for me.

Just wanted a bit of advice on this.
