Hi
I'm trying to decide which all in one to get and I'm losing the will to live - but not as fast as my Lexmark X83 is!!
Having looked here, I've realised that I was right in my theory that Lexmark are pants and expensive to run.
I want a scanner/printer/copier that will do good text, colour pics and decent photos. I have a load of 35mm mounted slides from when I was little that would be great to have printed.
Has anyone used the Canon Pixma 810 or another machine that they could recommend. I've been looking at product specs etc for hours and my brain says it's time to stop now.
Thanks v much.

I've got a canon pixma and dont find that mega cheap to run, as far as ink etc go, alas you cant get compatibles for my machine. However we have just bought a Epson DX6050 for the kids pc and as such its top banana, its an all in one printer scanner etc and you can get nice cheap compatible cartridges off of ebay etc, approx £12 or a full set of colours and black.
We bought the printer itself from pcworld for £69.99, which was a tad more than we wanted to pay but we will recoup the money in no time considering the amount of printing the rugrats do.
All the best

Thanks, Bear.
Will have a look at Epsons - especially as OH says that Canon one is too expensive!0 -
The Canon one is only £59.99 at Boots which seems really good value.
I have Canon at present and get my replacement cartridges cheap off Ebay.
Here is the link for the one at Boots
