Overdraft protection PPI

I don't often review my bank statement as I mainly use cash machines etc. However I have discovered that I pay a sum monthly to my bank - barclays - for overdraft protection. If I'm not overdrawn regularly, and if I am it's only a few pounds for a few days, is it worth it? Was it ever worth it, can I claim a refund?

I am in the process of reclaiming from Barclays too.

I have paid overdraft protection on 2 accounts with them, for the last 14 yrs at £10.40 a month.

My business account has it too.

    Good luck!:)

I rang them and made the complaint over the phone.

They sent me a letter explaining that I will have an outcome by 30/11/11 and enclosed a questionnaire for further information.

    Hope this helps
