For your council tax, Band A is the cheapest Band you can get, call the local council and they will tell you the cost. For your other bills its impossible to say as it depends on property, location and how much you use. You could always ask the landlord if he knows roughly.0

Roughly £1,068.51 according to the council tax website per annum. They will divide it into 10 monthly payments for the year and give you two months off.
Gas and electric, I pay about £30 a month for both. Just me in a 2-bed house and I am pretty tight with using the electric and heating! Water will set you back about £10 per month.
Don't forget the other stuff like food, TV licence, phone etc0 -
thats really helpful i was trying to work out the council tax but was getting myself into such a muddle! we are going to be pretty tight on it also and i think it helps we wont be in the flat that much! we did budget £200 a month for just CT electric water and gas but we are hoping it comes to no more then about £150?0

Budget for £200 and if it is less then you will have some savings! But that does sound like the right sort of figure. Put your house money away in another account so you know you can always pay the bills- you won't be tempted to spend the money on anything else.0
