I wanted some clarity please.
We are flying by BA to rome on monday, at 7am.
On the the website, it states you will be given breakfast, with tea and coffee on all european flights.
When i phoned up this morning just to check, panicking i know, i was told as the flight was under 3h it would be snacks only.
Then called again, and got told it was a breakfast sandwich....
does anyone actually know what we will be given?
we are usual cattle class!

But BA are always changing their catering, so I'd have a little something in the terminal before boarding.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

I wouldn't get too excited. All it will be is a small sandwich or muffin. Even in the fancy seats at the front, the catering has been cut back on short haul flights.
To save on the panicking or hunger, make sure you eat at the airport or take something onboard with you.0 -

Looking at some of those pics I think I'd rather have a McDonalds big breakfast before boarding.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -
We just flew to and from Malaga with BA - the food was atrocious as were the miserable check in staff.
A stale brown bread tuna/mayonaise sandwich going and white cheese and onion chutney coming back - no choice offered.
No crisps, nuts or chocolate on board either unless you want to pay £7 for a bag of Milka.
All served by surly staff - what has happened to BA?
I used to love flying with them a few years ago but now it was shocking to see such uncaring people on both flights.0 -
It's the way short haul flying is going, even on the "full service" carriers. Fly on Iberia (BA's sister company after the merger) and you have to pay for all drinks and food on board, even water.0

Yep, absolutely naf all at the North Terminal I've just checked, doesn't bode well, we are flying with Thomson in a few weeks from the north terminal a 06:00 I hope their idea of breakfast isn't the same as BA, I can't stand Tuna sandwiches so looks like I'll be going hungry until we get bookrd in at resort probably around mid day, not good if you have kids.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -
i was planning to, but we are staying in the premier inn at the airport the night before, so no fridge etc, we will prob. get a boots meal deal i guess, just wouldn't have minded less to carry around!Ok, ok, i need to go back onto Weightwatchers, lost 7 stone..... 2 back on, this has to change.....Help!!!:eek:0
