Thanks to all that have openend this thread in an attempt to offer me some needed advice.
Basiclaly I have about 10-11k in savings and i don;t really need to touch it for 2-3 years.
So the question is, what is the best way of turning this sum into something more with a fairly low risk?
Any advice greatly welcomes
Thanks

2-3 years isnt really enough to invest unless you are higher risk in nature. You say you are not.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

2 to 3 years and fairly safe is saving, not investment as dunstonh says.
Have a look at Martin's savings articles on that section of the site. There are some ways to maximise the interest you'll get by using regular saver accounts and/or the best paying instant access accounts. Although some accounts do have catches which you have to understand and some of the regular savers which appear to have attractive int rates don't make you a great deal more when you take into account the days you lose transferring your money from your bank to theirs.
