Can I insure myself against water supply pipes bursting?

Hi all,
I'm moving into a farmhouse in 3 months time, this house has a metered water supply supplied by another farm. My solicitor has informed me that I am jointly liable for 1/2 mile of supply pipe and completely liable from the branch of the supply pipe to my farm. So that means I am responsible for roughly 1.5 mile of pipe work.
Can I insure myself for the worst case scenario of burst pipes and loss of water supply?
Appreciate any and all advice inlcuding insurance providers!!!

Having lived in the country I suggest you get along to a farm supply shop and get some wiring and a battery made for this. The usual use is to keep the water flowing in the barns/outbuildings for animals. If you can bury the pipes at least 15 inches you will not need wires on total length. If you do all of that you should be OK.
