OH had his Orange phone cut off between Christmas and New Year due to working away and waiting for his wages to clear.
The day I went to Ponty to cash in his spare change jar - £110 all bagged up - the bank was shut so I was unable to cash in the money. His Orange bill - £337 - needed paying as it's a business line and vital.
I'd like to say a big thanks to the guys in the Orange shop there in Ponty, bless 'em.
They took the bags of spare change and counted them out in a corner and also accepted the remainder of the bill in notes.
If they hadn't have done this then OH's business between Chrimbo and NY would have been stuffed well and truly!
I actually had a lot of problems with Orange on my own phone and cancelled my contract but I was impressed the way the local branch helped us out- even if their customer service by phone is sh. err, not very good.:T :T
