After a parking fine in Lidl Kings Lynn in May 2011 I have received 3 letters from ANPR demanding money. Then it changed Ive now had 2 letters from LRC debt recovery (all letters ignored as advised) However now I'm getting automated telephone calls from LRC from 08448588888 too which I simply put the Phone down as soon as they say LRC. Has anybody else had it go this far just need a bit of reassurance

The things to remember about debt collectors are that they have absolutely no special powers; they cannot make you bankrupt in an instant; they cannot simply sieze your goods and they cannot damage your credit record. They have no more authority than you or I to collect debts and, ultimately, all they can do is to ask you to pay up. They might attach some stamping of feet, shouting and screaming and balling but all they can do is ask. That is why eveything has to be dressed up to sound threatening.
If you would like to read up on how one comic poster here dealt with a debt collector - have a read of this thread. I warn you it is very long (over a hundred pages) but you will laugh your socks off at some of things he/she did.
As for ANPR all you had was a worthless invoice. The fact that things have otherwise followed a predictable course suggests you're coming to an end of it. Don't give in now!!My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0
