Those are the ones that only support a limited number of writes over the life of the device?

Yes, but by the time it goes cheaper faster drives will be out (& tbh regular hdd's fail as well)

If I ask, which video card has better technical characteristics, why should I thank someone who is saying "Just go for the one that, suits your budget".

Are you kidding? What on earth does that even mean? We tried to explain that it's not as simple as that. At each price point, one manufacturer may have a card that's better value for money than another.

There is no one video card with 'better technical characteristics' unless you buy the absolute best card that week (which will also be the worst value for money). Go ahead, if that's your approach.

People who know what they're doing decide what kind of application they are using it for e.g. HD movies, video editing, gaming - then look for cards that fit that need within a particular budget. This gives them a valid point of comparison e.g. to determine price vs performance.

I bet after reading this, you're still wanting to ask "but which one is better?!"

Would you be confident on building one yourself? I bet that will save you a lot of money over getting it pre-built, which you could either save, or spend on buying better components.

Read a couple of tutorials on the website and just take your time when putting it together and it should be a doddle. I've built a few in the past and had no issue and saved a wodge (although I haven't used watercooling)! It'll also give you more understanding on the various parts inside and you'll be familiar with the innards when it comes to upgrading a component.

Do you really need watercooling? You can get some rather hefty air cooling solutions these days which will do a good enough job unless you're really pushing the boundaries.

I can't help with the actual spec though unfortunately as I'm out of the loop with modern tech at the moment.

I can't believe they only knocked £13 off for having a See-Thru Side Panel [-13] (Silver with Blue Lightning)

Sounds completely Chavtastic, a welcome addition to any room in the house.
    Blue lightning - Wicked!
